New York City Christmas Engagement Photography.

Central Park covered in snow is a magical wonderland!! My hubby and I went to New York City recently for our belated anniversary (which we got to spend originally packing and boarding up our house for Hurricane Irma) celebration! It was the perfect weekend to be in New York City around Christmastime. We arrived Friday early afternoon and left Sunday at noon, and all day Saturday it snowed!! And when I saw that it was going to be sunny early Sunday morning, and I had brought my camera gear, I just had to find a couple to photograph in the sunny snowy Central Park morning before our flight back home to Florida! Since I’ve now done this a couple times (in Switzerland, and Guatemala) I’ve become less nervous about approaching a couple and asking them to take their photos (I always joke that I promise I’m a real photographer, and you can check out my website!). It took a couple tries to find a couple on Saturday who was available the next morning early, and now I know why…so I could meet and photograph this lovely amazing couple, who happen to have gotten engaged just a couple weeks prior! Talk about perfect timing!! Even before seeing my website, they excitedly said “let’s do it!!” which is when I knew it was going to be awesome! We did a little mini-session early the next morning, and I love the gorgeous sunrise light and all the snow and how in love Tim & Kelly are!!!
