This past Monday evening, I met up with Kevin & Laura at John U Lloyd State Park for their engagement session. When they mentioned including their boat (and later on, paddleboards too!), I started to really look forward to their engagement photographs. Kevin was a groomsmen in a past wedding I captured, this gorgeous New Years Eve sparkly wedding of his sister, and I love working with his wonderful family! :)
The forecast leading up to the evening looked a bit sketchy, but it couldn’t have been more off…it was bright & sunny most of the session, and never came close to raining during the photos. I loved everything about their shoot, & even ventured on the water myself…!

Laura is from Long Island & it’s where they are getting married, whereas Kevin is one of the rare born & raised Floridians, so they wanted to include this photo in their session :)

And then…I braved crossing the canal on a paddleboard with my camera – this photographer will do anything for an amazing photo!!
So worth it!!!
But someone did fall in…it wasn’t me though, so I’ll let you guess from there who did ;)
