Two years ago, yesterday. My now-hubby asked me to marry him. And I most definitely said YES! I just thought I’d share a couple of the special pics from that day, that my friend Laura & I quickly took. I wish I’d known then all that I know now about photography…but I still love these pics very much & they’re dear to my heart. David arranged for the proposal to be at my friend Laura’s house. We went over to hang out & watch a movie, then later go out to a fancy dinner. As Laura & I got ready, curling each others’ hair & dressing up, David was ‘watching the rest of the movie.’ Yet when I walked out Laura’s bedroom door…this is the AMAZINGNESS I saw…
These are unedited photos, I just left them how they were taken on my point&shoot camera. Laura took this one of us dancing. The first song that started playing when I walked into the room? ‘The Question’ by Old 97’s. <3
And a photo I took about two years ago of my beautiful ring…of course, a heart!
That day is still the second-happiest day of my life. The photos are just a glimpse into it. Maybe next year I’ll post more… ;)
