Mission: Cooking dinner for 30-ish people. (AKA, really anywhere between 20-40 people.)
Status: Completed. Five hours of cooking later..
Mission Details: Melissa (my sister-in-law, my husband’s sister), and I signed up for bringing the food to our Church’s wednesday night Bible Study. Which ranges every week depending on who all comes, from anywhere between 20-40 people. So with no concrete number, we set off to make LOTS of food. We tripled a large spaghetti & meat sauce recipe, and doubled a meatball & potatoes recipe, had three big loaves of garlic bread, plenty of salad, and made more than enough cookies. :)
Lots of chopping was involved…these pictures are only about a quarter of the chopping done…
Starting to work on the meat sauce, with some bacon, so yummy!

We cooked sooooooo much spaghetti in one pot…added a lot of oil so we wouldn’t be, as Melissa put it, ‘those people who don’t know how to cook spaghetti and the pieces get stuck together.’ Nope, that constantly never happens to me when I’m home alone cooking dinner for my hubby… (secret: eat take out/pull apart all the pieces as you see them!)

Crockpot numero uno, completely full:
Crockpot numero dos…same:
We couldn’t find the PAM (which I blamed on the hubby, since he was at work & couldn’t defend himself) so we improvised..
Wish I had taken a few more photos of our meatball & potatoes dish process..but this is what it (and some of the cookies!) looked like just before coming out of the oven :)
Mission: Success!!
Thanks for a great cooking adventure together, Mel :)
XOXO <3
