I am so excited to introduce my new blog!!
I’m hoping the italicization is really able to convey my enthusiasm & delight. If you’re not feeling it, then maybe the fact that I just looked up on thesaurus.com other synonyms for ‘excited,’ and came up with ‘enthusiasm & delight,’ will atleast help you to somewhat understand my thrilled, eager, animated, ecstatic, overwrought, tumultuous, enthused self. Or you can just pretend to be impressed by the fact that I actually spelled ‘italicization’ completely correctly, on my first attempt. Because I’m impressed with myself for that. Stunned, is more like it. ;)
Feel free to take a look around & leave a comment on what you think about the new blog. pretty please? :)
I do still have the link on the left to my old blog (www.jilliantree.wordpress.com), as I’m not sure yet how to transfer posts from my old blog to here. I’ll try & figure it out soon.
Now, as if my new blog wasn’t exciting enough (for me, anyways!) I signed up for & somehow got into a Jasmine Star Workshop, on May 17th! She is so absolutely inspiring as a wedding photographer, so open & willing to share all her photography secrets, & so much fun to watch her blog & online photography course with CreativeLive. I am really looking forward to meeting her as well as the other nineteen photographers at the workshop :) Now, just to buy my flight tickets to California…
So, in honor of the new blog, I am posting the pictures from a beautiful wedding that I helped the Churchill’s with two weekends ago, in Key Largo.
It was the perfect day for an outside wedding in the keys. Jessica really made suuuuuuch a gorgeous bride. And her bridesmaids were so helpful! One was a momma to the cutest lil’ few-months-old girl I have ever seen…with hair sticking up almost four inches (adorable pictures to come of her soon)! The ceremony was beautiful with the ocean a mere 30 feet away. Check out Jessica as she’s getting ready:
Special momma-daughter moment :)
They did a first look…so cute!
Some bridal shots…
The lovely bridesmaids (and groomsmen).
Did I not say how gorgeous a bride Jessica was? If not, let me repeat it. GORGEOUS.
At the ceremony…nervously awaiting his bride!
One proud sister :)
The vows.
Exchanging of rings…Jessica spent a minute trying to push Ryan’s ring on his finger, till he finally took over! haha :)
Just Married!!!
Beautiful flower’s made by one of Jessica’s cousins..
Bride & Groom :)
Ryan drying off Jessica’s feet after venturing into the water…what a gentleman!
LOVE!
Details of the reception. Loved their favors, I almost did that at my own wedding. And the lighting over the dance floor was so cool!
Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs…
First dance :)
Ryan telling his best man to not tell the whole party any embarrassing secrets..and everyone laughed when he did!
And finally to end it all…a toast!!
What a wonderful wedding, Ryan & Jessica. Have a blessed life!
Thanks to you for reading my first blog post, I sincerely hope you enjoyed it :) genuinely. wholeheartedly.
